About the Role: Join Our Casual Event Crew
Want hands-on experience working the biggest festivals, concerts, and corporate events across Central Queensland? Stage & Audio and CQ Party Hire are building our casual crew pool for bump-ins, bump-outs, and on-site event support — perfect for students, or anyone after flexible work that fits around study or other commitments. You don’t need experience to apply. What matters is that you’re reliable, physically capable, and keen to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
Bump-in and bump-out of staging, audio, and lighting equipment
On-site support during live shows and events
Warehouse prep — gear testing, packing, and loading trucks
Working alongside our experienced techs on industry-standard staging, audio, and lighting gear
Who We’re Looking For
Reliable and punctual, comfortable with early starts and late finishes
Physically capable of lifting and manual handling
Interest in live events, technical production, audio, or lighting a bonus — not required
Own transport preferred
Available for casual, event-based shifts (hours vary with the show calendar)
Licences & Certifications (not mandatory, but tell us if you have any)
